2012 Composer-Librettist Studio Accepting Applications for Composers

The New Dramatists Composer-Librettist Studio, presented in cooperation with Nautilus Music Theater, is designed to provide an opportunity for five writers and five composers to work with professional performers, exploring the possibilities and basic elements of music-theater. Now Accepting Applications for the Van Lier Playwriting Fellowship

New Dramatists is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Van Lier Playwriting Fellowship Program. The 18-month program was established to help young, economically disadvantaged playwrights living in New York City develop their talent and become involved in the professional theatre community. Three 18-month fellowships of $10,000 ($5,000 a year) will be awarded to playwrights 30 years old or younger who are not enrolled in college or graduate school. Read More
