Creativity Fund: Sharon Bridgforth

Sep 16 2013 (All day) -- Sep 20 2013 (All day)

The Adventures of HoneyPot and Dem
by Sharon Bridgforth

HoneyPot is a womanizing/piano playing/knife carrying she'roe from the 1920's delta South. HoneyPot first appeared in Bridgforth's "delta dandi" but thankfully the brilliant Emily Morse helped Bridgforth recognize the fact that HoneyPot was taking over "delta dandi" (which wasn't about her) and that HoneyPot needed her own story. This workshop is Bridgforth's first attempt to discover what that story is/and who the cast of characters that HoneyPot runs with are. The eventual goal is a book, a play, an EP, and anything else that HoneyPot wants.
