River See by Sharon Bridgforth

River See explores blues stories as living arrangements of jazz. Playwright Sharon Bridgforth will experiment with conducting dancers, singers and musicians in creating a moving soundscape that supports her raucous/juking text.

River See received a 2012 MAP Fund Award and a 2012 National Performance Network Creation Fund Award. For more information, please go to sharonbridgforth.com.

The working portion of this Creativity Fund is closed. There will be a public reading of the final presentation on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 1pm.

Creativity Fund offers playwrights the opportunity to workshop new plays or musicals for up to five days.
