The Barbara Barondess MacLean Festival of Readings
Please join us for New Dramatists’ annual festival of readings celebrating our outgoing resident playwrights’ unique contributions to the organization over the course of their seven-year residencies. This year we are celebrating them with an exciting, newly re-imagined three-day festival of readings, tributes, food and fun.
This year's festival includes work by Julia Cho, Jorge Ignacio Cortinas, Rinne Groff, Jordan Harrison, Oni Faida Lampley and Sarah Ruhl.
Rinne Groff is the recipient of this year’s “In The Spirit of America Award” for her play, The Ruby Sunrise. This Award, and the After Seven Festival are made possible with the generous support of The Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, in memory of Barbara Barondess MacLean.
