Lost Boy Found in WholeFoods
LOST BOY FOUND IN WHOLE FOODS tells the story of Christine, a middle-aged, middle-classed white woman who meets Gabriel, a former “Lost Boy” of Sudan working in the produce section of Whole Foods in Pittsburgh. Moved by the story of the trauma he survived as a child, she invites him to live with her and her teenage daughter. LOST BOY FOUND IN WHOLE FOODS explores the question of what it means to help another human being -- what responsibilities do we have; do we always know what's best? What does it mean when you open up the door to your life to someone you don't know?

Scenes takes place in the produce section of Whole Foods, in the East end home of Christine and Alex, on a playground bench and the downtown office of the Pittsburgh Refugee Center.
