The dressing room of the Maly Theatre, Moscow, 1905. The shadow of the Russian Revolution looms. Nora Helmer shares a dressing room with the young and aspiring actress Yelena. It’s been twenty-five years since Nora slammed the door on Torvald. She is now a member of the Maly Theatre.

Set Description
The dressing room of the Maly Theatre, Moscow, 1905.
Downstage, two long dressing tables span the width of the stage, and racks of costumes flank the sides. A legion of dressmaker's dummies are positioned throughout the space and are reconfigured throughout the play.

SLAM had a four-day workshop (June 2013) at New Dramatists. The Creativity Fund at New Dramatists provided support for this workshop.
