The Last Pair of Earlies

After eighteen years of marriage, a childless couple living in a kitchenette apartment on Chicago’s South Side come to grips with the disappointments of their daily lives and the unfulfilled promise of their younger selves. Meanwhile, the story of the couple as newlyweds is told in flashback, as they prepare to leave rural Mississippi in search of a better life. Past and present collide as two people reach a turning point in their relationship.
