Tom Visits His Sister Rose One Last Time

Rose Williams conjures up her brother Tom (Tennessee) to visit her one last time. While waiting, always waiting for him to visit once again, she relives her memories of their close relationship and imagines what could be through vaudeville, song, and dance. They are a brother and sister who want the best for each other, yet fear the hurt, madness, and unbridled desire they know lives in the other. A full length musical for two actors with no intermission.
The working portion of this Creativity Fund project is closed. There will be a public Open Rehearsal of the Musical In-Process on Friday, May 30.
This musical has been developed in The Composer-Librettist Studio and by the White Heron Theatre.
The Creativity Fund offers playwrights extended time to explore and develop new plays and musicals up to five days.
