Spanning 30 years, the play presents intimate slices from the evolving relationship between Frank, a pizza shop owner, and Bobby, the neighborhood kid he befriends and cares for. From these slices, a larger whole is conjured taking us from the awkward innocence of youth to the pinnacle of self-destruction, as the play explores the long-haul responsibility and challenge of caring for an addict who you love, but cannot change.
