Revisiting The Rotary Notary and His Hot Plate

Diller Scofidio + Renfro by Edward Dimendberg (University of Chicago Press) chronicles the history of these extraordinary architects. Included in this monograph is my theatrework, The Rotary Notary and His Hot Plate based on Marcel Duchamp’s LARGE GLASS. Elizabeth Diller and Ricardo Scofidio were my collaborators and designed the sets and costumes for the work that was commissioned by the Philadelphia Museum of Art for their Centennial Celebration of Marcel Duchamp. What a joy it was to work with these brilliant architects.
